Engineers Ireland-Approved CPD Training Events

At Qwik-Fix™ Construction Accessories, we feel we have a responsibility to all stakeholders in the construction industry to contribute to best practice in the design of masonry fixings.

As such, we are currently rolling out a fully approved CPD (Continuous Professional Development) course for structural engineers and architects.

The course can be delivered in a number of different formats:

1)  Lunchtime Show & Tell: A 50 minute long session to be enjoyed with your sandwich. This will cover the basic elements of masonry support design and will deal with issues such as thermal bridging, the new eurocodes and 2010 building regulations.

2) Half Day Seminar: A more comprehensive guide to designing masonry support systems, covering fixing details in depth, whilst also dealing with issues such as thermal bridging, the new eurocodes and building regs. The seminar can be delivered to your staff exclusively at your offices or at one of our planned shared events at an outside venue close to you.

3) Webinar: An interactive web based seminar during which you can ask questions and download the course content for future reference.

4) Downloadable Presentation: Would you prefer to learn in your own time? No problem. Simply download our presentation and log your learning hours. The presentation is accredited, with a specific CPD time allowance.
